This team partners closely with business stakeholders and IT delivery groups to improve business processes, support system enhancements, and deliver practical technology solutions in a structured, collaborative environment. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging business needs with technical execution while contributing to operational improvements across enterprise systems.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, offering the chance to work directly with business and technology teams on system improvement initiatives. The role provides exposure to requirements analysis, Agile delivery, testing support, reporting, and stakeholder communication across a professional financial services environment.
- Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify needs, document requirements, and support solution delivery.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development and implementation teams.
- Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or operational efficiency.
- Support testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation activities for new systems or enhancements.
- Facilitate communication across business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare documentation, reports, dashboards, and process materials that support project decisions and business readiness.
- 5–7 years of business analysis experience, preferably supporting technology or enterprise systems initiatives.
- Strong background in requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, workshops, process mapping, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of SDLC practices and Agile methodologies.
- Experience creating functional specifications, business requirements documents, process flows, reports, and dashboards.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Tableau, or similar analysis/reporting tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Business Analyst certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA is a plus.
