Join a biopharmaceutical organization supporting a critical finance transformation initiative. This team is focused on strengthening financial operations through accurate data conversion, system migration support, and cross-functional collaboration. The environment is project-driven, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with close partnership across finance, IT, project management, and external implementation teams.
Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact financial systems migration project, supporting the transition from a legacy platform to a new system of record. The role is onsite in Bridgewater, NJ and is ideal for a finance operations professional who enjoys data accuracy, process improvement, and system implementation work.
- Support financial data conversion activities across extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Serve as a key liaison between the P2P team, IT, project managers, and third-party implementation partners.
- Review pre- and post-conversion data to confirm completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
- Help define migration requirements and resolve discrepancies throughout the conversion process.
- Develop and execute UAT plans and test scripts to validate converted data.
- Document data mapping decisions, procedures, issues, and resolutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, supplier management, P2P operations, or a similar finance function.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience in finance operations.
- Hands-on experience with P2P processes, financial data conversion, data extraction, data cleansing, and data mapping.
- Prior ERP or accounting system migration experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data formatting functions.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven project environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Understanding of global banking and tax compliance documentation is highly valuable.
