Join a technology team supporting a global financial services and capital markets environment where software engineering, data integration, and client onboarding platforms are critical to business operations. This team works across business, technology, and operations groups to deliver scalable applications, modern data workflows, and integration solutions that support fast-moving financial services processes. The environment is collaborative, delivery-focused, and well-suited for a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems across applications, data pipelines, messaging systems, and reporting platforms.
Engagement: W2 only, no C2C/1099.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, supporting enterprise-level technology initiatives within a financial services environment. The role offers exposure to modern development tools, event-driven architecture, data engineering platforms, and client onboarding/KYC-related workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using modern frameworks, backend services, and enterprise development practices.
- Build and support event-driven solutions using Kafka, IBM MQ, Azure Event Hub, and other messaging technologies.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and reporting workflows using Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI, and Python.
- Create APIs and backend services using .NET technologies, with C# preferred.
- Support automation and job scheduling using Autosys or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology, business, and operations to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve system problems in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong code quality through testing, code reviews, GitHub workflows, and best-practice development standards.
- 5–7 years of hands-on application development experience in a technical enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Fenergo, Databricks, .NET/C#, Kafka, IBM MQ or similar messaging systems, Azure Event Hub, Power BI, SQL Server, Python, Autosys, and GitHub.
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, distributed systems, API development, integration patterns, and data pipeline design.
- Advanced SQL Server experience, including querying, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting KYC, client onboarding, or financial services/regulatory workflows is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with MBPM/Metastorm or other BPM tools is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment while staying self-driven and quality-focused.
