The role is based in Dallas, TX, with an additional listed location. • Define and evolve the enterprise data platform architecture with a focus on Microsoft Fabric.
• Own the long-term data platform vision, ensuring the environment scales securely, efficiently, and in alignment with business priorities.
• Design architecture across ingestion, storage, modeling, integration, and consumption layers.
• Establish standards for data governance, security, metadata, lineage, scalability, and cost management.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to define platform roadmaps, priorities, and delivery sequencing.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering and delivery teams by reviewing solution designs and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Support enterprise analytics, self-service BI, and AI-enabled data use cases through reliable, governed platform capabilities.
• Create platform patterns for API-based integrations and event-driven data flows.

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics platform leadership, or a related enterprise data role.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong experience designing enterprise data architecture and analytics platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and cloud analytics ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of data governance, security, compliance, metadata management, and lineage.
• Experience with cost optimization, capacity planning, and scalable platform design.
• Ability to define architecture across ingestion, storage, modeling, integration, and consumption layers.
• Strong strategic planning, prioritization, and decision-making skills, especially in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, technical stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery partners.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain architectural direction, tradeoffs, and standards.
• Microsoft Cloud or Data Architecture certifications preferred, including Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203).
• Enterprise architecture or data governance certifications are a plus.
