This team partners closely with infrastructure, application, networking, and business stakeholders to keep trading platforms, market data tools, hardware, and connectivity running smoothly in a highly time-sensitive environment.
This is an onsite opportunity in New York, NY supporting a trading floor environment. The role offers exposure to front-office technology, trading systems, market data applications, and cross-functional incident resolution in a mission-critical financial services setting.
- Provide real-time technical support to traders and front-office users across trading systems, desktop hardware, market data platforms, and application issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, network connectivity, Windows/Linux environments, and related infrastructure.
- Monitor the health and performance of trading systems and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate application, infrastructure, or networking teams.
- Support a low-downtime trading floor environment where quick diagnosis, clear communication, and disciplined follow-through are essential.
- Document recurring issues, create support guides, and contribute to knowledge base materials that improve long-term operational efficiency.
- Help maintain operational and regulatory standards by following escalation, documentation, and support procedures.
- 10+ years of experience in trade floor support, front-office technology support, trading systems support, or a similarly high-pressure technical environment.
- Strong experience supporting financial systems, trading platforms, market data feeds, and front-office users.
- Hands-on familiarity with market data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, scripting, desktop hardware, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, application, connectivity, and platform issues quickly in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support demanding business users professionally and calmly.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize urgent issues, escalate effectively, and operate in a fast-paced trading floor setting.
