Local IT Support Assistant (Freelance/On-Demand)

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Local Support Assistant in Shanghai, China to provide essential on-site operational support at our local office. This is not a full-time or part-time employee position.

• This is a freelance, on-demand engagement.
• Work is sporadic and scheduled in advance based on operational needs (e.g., specific days for shipments, inventory checks).
• There are no fixed or guaranteed weekly hours.
• You will be contacted for specific tasks or interventions as they arise, typically during standard Monday-Friday business hours in Shanghai, China.

• →Shipment Coordination & Inventory Management: Manage all office logistics by coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers like DHL/FedEx and performing regular inventory checks to maintain accurate digital records of equipment and supplies.
• →On-Site Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting, diagnosing hardware/software issues, and liaising with vendors to resolve infrastructure or logistical roadblocks.

• Have excellent availability and flexibility for sporadic, pre-scheduled assignments.
• Are highly detail-oriented and proactive in managing tasks from start to finish.
• Possess basic technical aptitude for office equipment and IT troubleshooting.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Have prior experience in logistics, administration, or support roles (a plus, but not mandatory).
