But while there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is almost as much opportunity ahead of us. Backblaze is expanding rapidly and our Sr. Manager, Data Infrastructure will manage a team of engineers and work with the Operations and Engineering teams to build and enhance large scale data systems.

The Sr. Manager, Data Infrastructure leads a team responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining data solutions (e.g. Vitess, Cassandra, ValKey, NATS) at cloud scale to support the Backblaze service.

• →Develop, deploy, and maintain systems critical to delivering the Backblaze service
• →Improve production system scalability, performance, and availability
• →Work closely with Operations and Application Engineers to develop new solutions and optimize existing ones
• →Deliver enhancements to observability, operability and reliability to lower TCO.
• →Support Backblaze’s growth with highly scalable solutions
• →Develop goals and strategies within the team to deliver quantifiable results
