Essential Responsibilities


· Support implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs throughout the manufacturing facility.

· Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees and leaders in HSE initiatives and safe work practices.


· Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

· Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.


· Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, standards, and company requirements.

· Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel.


· Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and implementation of risk mitigation measures.

· Maintain required HSE records, reports, permits, and documentation.

· Track and analyze HSE performance metrics and recommend improvement actions.


· Partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, health, and environmental performance.

· Support emergency preparedness programs, drills, and response planning activities.


· Participate in internal and external HSE audits as required.

Qualifications


· Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant HSE experience preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety within a manufacturing or industrial environment.


· Strong knowledge of workplace safety principles, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.

· Experience conducting incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.

· Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and compliance requirements.


· Experience supporting safety training and employee awareness programs.

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Basic English reading and communication skills preferred.

Desired Characteristics


· Experience in manufacturing, industrial, energy, or oil & gas environments.

· Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

· Experience supporting audits, compliance inspections, and regulatory reporting activities.


· Strong observation skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to influence safe behaviors and build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.


· Proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving and risk reduction.

· Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams.

· Training certifications related to safety, environmental management, or emergency response are a plus.
