Production Operator (Prepolish)

Job Summary:

Prepolishing the outside of ring removing top surface of roughness using a cloth and felt wheel and trip compound

Essential Job Functions:

• Polish outside of rings removing top surface of roughness using trip compound on a cloth or felt wheel
• Use hand motor for small areas of polishing
• Soak rings in wash tank to loosen compound
• Clean and remove compound off rings with steamer and air hose
• Verify and Sort rings to match-up orders by specs after steaming rings
• Clean and polish metal items and jewelry pieces
• Work extended hours if needed
