Currently we’re seeking a specialist who is motivated to develop a career in data protection and work with market‑leading high‑tech enterprise software clients. In this role, you will support Data Protection compliance across the UK region, helping organisations operate securely and responsibly

Responsibilities

As a Data Protection Coordinator, you will support regional Data Protection compliance initiatives, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and contribute to processes that ensure secure and compliant operations.

  • Driving data protection compliance and raising awareness about data protection across the region (trainings and consultations).
  • Gathering information about new Data Protection guidelines and orders of data protection authorities.
  • Providing documentation of Country Data Protection Laws, e.g. Country GDPR amendments.
  • Advising and supporting on Data Subject Access Request, potential incidents and other UK-specific matters as applicable. 
  • Maintaining the Country Data Protection compliance reporting.
  • Regularly aligning on Data Protection matters across several teams.
  • Supporting data subject rights requests and requests by the data protection authorities.
  • Potentially supporting our Legal team on commercial legal topics.
  • At least 1-2 years of data protection experience.
  • Familiar with UK GDPR.
  • Must have a legal background, a degree from an accredited law school is a plus. 
  • Experience with high-tech companies preferred. 
  • Proven work experience in an in-house legal department or a major law firm is a plus. 
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English is mandatory 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, dynamic and highly team-oriented personality. 
  • Ability to navigate in an international, complex organisation.
