About the Role
~1 min readBanner House’s Programming Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of club events, activities, and member programming. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional member experiences. The coordinator will work closely with multiple departments to ensure seamless event delivery and high levels of member engagement.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in the planning and execution of club events, including social gatherings, family programming, wellness activities, and special events
- →Coordinate event logistics such as scheduling, vendor communication, room setup, and materials preparation
- →Maintain and update the club’s programming calendar and event registration systems
- →Support member communications by drafting event descriptions, emails, and promotional materials
- →Collaborate with food & beverage, fitness, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations
- →Track attendance, gather feedback, and assist in post-event reporting and analysis
- →Provide on-site support during events, including setup, check-in, and breakdown
- →Respond to member inquiries regarding programming in a timely and professional manner
- →Assist with administrative tasks related to programming and membership engagement
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Event Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in hospitality, events, customer service, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva; experience with event management software is a plus
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on member service and experience
- Primarily on-site at a private membership club
- Combination of office work and active event support
- Fast-paced, member-focused environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
