About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Consultant to join BaptistCare's Residential Operations Support team.

Partnering closely with Residential Managers, Care Team Managers (CTMs) and site leadership teams across NSW and ACT, you will provide clinical leadership, operational support and mentoring to drive quality care outcomes and support residential operations.

Working alongside the Residential Operations Support Manager, you will assist sites with clinical governance, quality and compliance, operational improvement initiatives, onboarding and leadership development. A key focus of the role is supporting CTMs through induction, coaching, mentoring and capability building.

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel extensively across NSW and ACT. Travel is expected at least fortnightly, with periods of more frequent travel depending on operational needs, including overnight stays and multi-day site visits.

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years management experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams at a senior operational level or equivalent health care experience
  • A strong understanding of clinical governance, quality systems, compliance requirements and aged care accreditation standards
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching and developing clinical leaders and teams
  • Demonstrated change management and operational improvement experience
  • Excellent organisation, administrative and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written, verbal and stakeholder management skills
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong technology skills and confidence using clinical systems and reporting tools
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel extensively across NSW and ACT

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or additional clinical leadership training
  • Experience in aged care transitions or commissioning
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Previous experience as a Care Team Manager, Residential Manager, Facility Manager or similar aged care leadership role
