The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service.
Current Per-diem staff members who convert to Seasonal Pool Per-diem need to reapply for an open Per-diem position at end of 12 week contract.
Current FT or PT staff members who convert to Seasonal Pool Per-diem may not reapply for a FT or PT position for at least three (3) months from the end date of the 12 week contract.
· Minimum Required Experience: 2 years.
· ASN, Licensed Registered Nurse eligible to practice in FL; have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.
· Candidate can select to commit to a 12-week, 16-week, 18-week, or 24 week contract in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool, which is a temporary nursing position. Candidate must commit to the following requirements for the position:

Seasonal Nursing Pool Employees will not be flexed. Seasonal Nursing Pool Employees will not accrue and are not entitled to Paid Time Off (PTO), nor are they permitted to request time off during the Agreement Period. Seasonal Nursing Pool employees are not eligible to participate in any Boca Raton Regional or Baptist Health South Florida benefit, shift differential, or bonus programs.
