The Senior Financial Analyst is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This role partners closely with business leaders and executive stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and enhance financial visibility.

The position plays a critical role in leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, building financial models, and developing reporting frameworks that improve operational performance and inform long-term planning, this role calls for someone who can hold several distinct revenue models in view at once and consolidate them into a single, trusted source of truth. As the function grows, there is real room for this role to grow with it.

Responsibilities

· Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles across assigned business units

· Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, influencing strategic and operational decisions

· Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business decisions

· Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, identify risks and opportunities, and support decision-making

· Prepare and present financial reporting and performance analysis (budget vs forecast vs actuals) with actionable insights to leadership

· Manage and optimize reporting and planning processes within Adaptive Insights (or similar FP&A tools)

· Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance metrics to track business outcomes

· Support long-range planning (LRP), investment analysis, and strategic initiatives

· Evaluate business cases, cost structures, and ROI in partnership with cross-functional teams

· Own and continuously improve financial planning processes, reporting tools, and data integrity

· Perform ad hoc analysis to support executive and operational priorities

· Help automate processes and work with senior leadership on research and implementation of AI tools to enhance workflows

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus

· 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial strategy

· Strong financial modeling and forecasting experience, including scenario and sensitivity analysis

· Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar)

· Experience building executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations

· Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, cash flow) and key business drivers

· Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across all levels

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement

· Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to team success

· Experience supporting SaaS, subscription-based, or revenue-driven business models

· Experience in a private-equity-backed company, including board or sponsor reporting.

· Experience in Netsuite or comparable

· Experience supporting education, professional services, or B2B environments

· Familiarity with KPI frameworks, financial dashboards, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

· Experience with long-range planning and strategic finance initiatives

· Exposure to data modeling and financial systems implementations or enhancements
