Are you a night owl with a strong attention to detail and a calm, welcoming demeanor? The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a Seasonal Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team, where you’ll play an essential role in delivering a seamless overnight guest experience at one of Maine’s most iconic oceanfront properties.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values consistency and accuracy, and takes pride in providing excellent service during quieter overnight hours. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning the overnight operation, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Complete nightly audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports

Provide friendly, professional guest service during overnight hours
→
Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
→
Monitor hotel security and respond appropriately to overnight concerns

Prepare the lobby and coffee station for the morning team
→
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment throughout the night

Requirements

Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Clear communication and effective problem-solving skills
Comfortable working overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
