We're seeking a Full-Time Seasonal Front Desk Supervisor to join our dedicated team at the iconic Bar Harbor Inn and Spa. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in guest-focused environments and enjoys leading a team in delivering exceptional service.
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, supporting the Front Office Manager in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for every guest. From check-in to check-out, your leadership will help create the warm and memorable experiences our guests cherish.

This seasonal, full-time position runs from spring through fall. The schedule typically includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The starting wage is $22 per hour.

- →Lead, mentor, and support front desk staff to achieve their best.
- →Train new team members and provide ongoing support for hotel systems and procedures.
- →Manage room assignments, guest check-ins/check-outs, and special requests.
- →Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- →Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless operations.
- →Assist the Front Office Manager with scheduling, performance evaluations, and administrative tasks.
- →Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
- →Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with front desk software (training provided).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a passion for guest service excellence.
- Previous hospitality or front desk experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in team leadership is a plus.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, lifting, and movement within the front desk area.
- 90-day performance review, guest feedback, and team collaboration.
