Responsibilities

This role offers hands-on experience in equipment installation, rigging, and machinery movement while supporting critical customer projects. In this role you will:

  • Move equipment and machinery using proper and safe rigging and lifting practices.
  • Align, level, and anchor cranes and other equipment.
  • Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear.
  • Connect pulleys and blocks to overhead structures using bolts, shackles, and clamps.
  • Clean and prepare machines and component surfaces for installation and operation.
  • Control the movement of heavy equipment through confined spaces and restricted areas.
  • Dismantle, maintain, and properly store rigging equipment.
  • Manipulate rigging lines and hoists to move or support materials, steel, and concrete.
  • Select appropriate gear, cables, and shackles based on load requirements and job conditions.
  • Signal and direct personnel involved in lifting and hoisting operations to ensure safe execution.
  • Inspect and test rigging systems to verify safety and reliability before lifting operations begin.

We're looking for mechanically inclined, safety-focused team members who enjoy solving problems and working in a hands-on environment.

Required:

  • Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of mathematics, measurements, weights, and load balance principles.
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding work.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Flexibility to travel, work overtime, and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and fit-for-duty assessment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in rigging, construction, farmhand, or heavy equipment

Additional Expectations:

  • Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for field work
  • 40–50+ hours per week with overtime potential
  • Outdoor, industrial, and physically active work
