Journeyman Millwright

• →Work with industry-specific and complex precision machines, including but not limited to exhaust fans, generators, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, compressors, etc.
• →Use precision leveling and alignment tools to measure angles, material thickness, and small distances with calipers, squares, micrometers, optical instruments, and other tools.
• →Fit bearings, align gears and wheels, attach motors, and connect belts according to manufacturer’s blueprints and drawings.
• →Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, exhaust fan blades, and pump systems.
• →Fabricate and install parts, equipment, and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling, and/or welding.
• →Unload, inspect, move, and set equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• →Adheres to all safety rules.
• →Perform all other job duties as assigned.

• Must have all Journeyman Precision Millwright hand tools.
• Minimum 4-5 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Millwright experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
  
  

• Must have experience with industrial machinery installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Must know how to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications, and understand how to read and interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures.
• Must have experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
• Must have all Journeyman Precision Millwright hand tools.

• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
• Walking in uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day.
•  Standing, Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
• Use of respirator if position requires.
• Driving if required to travel. Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing.
• Outside most of the time.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
• Limited working surfaces.
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
