The Warranty Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end warranty claims process to drive cost recovery and enhance product quality. This role serves as a key liaison between suppliers, stores, and internal teams, ensuring all claims are processed, documented, and resolved efficiently. The Analyst will leverage data to identify trends, forecast warranty expenses, and provide actionable insights to support the Product Management team and drive continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake and processing of all warranty claims, investigating issues to ensure validity and completeness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stores, franchise owners, and vendors regarding claim status and resolution.
  • Communicate directly with suppliers to negotiate claims and secure credit memos for warranty recovery.
  • Maintain all documentation related to warranty terms, processes, and a master file of claim-related data.
  • Analyze warranty data to identify trends, report on key metrics, and recommend improvements to reduce claim rates.
  • Monitor and forecast the warranty budget, tracking expenses and projecting month-end costs.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly warranty reports to internal stakeholders to highlight trends and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team by providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve AI models used in warranty analysis, incorporating new data sources and feedback loops to increase prediction accuracy.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered models to predict warranty claim volumes, flag anomalies, and surface early warning signals for quality issues.
  • Partner with the Product Management team to provide quality assurance data and drive improvements on major warranty issues.
  • Develop deep product knowledge to serve as a subject-matter expert for internal and external inquiries.
  • Support the development of vendor matrices and hold stakeholders accountable for established standards.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warranty management, supply chain, finance, or a related business field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of forecasting and data analysis experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and/or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Great Plains or a similar ERP system is desired.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
