Your care and support has the power to change lives. At BAYADA, you'll see that impact from day one. This is an ideal job for a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant interested in some part-time hours after school.


Join BAYADA as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful difference every day. You'll provide one-on-one support to Children and Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, helping them build confidence, gain independence, and achieve goals they never thought possible.  We are currently hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals in Wake Forest and Wake County areas! Evening and weekend hours currently available in Wake Forest! Other part-time shifts also available throughout Wake County.

What You'll Do 

✔ Help individuals participate in community activities and social events 
✔ Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship 
✔ Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming 
✔ Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings 
✔ Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible 

Pay & Schedule 

  • $16 per hour 
  • Weekly pay 
  • Flexible part-time schedules 
  • Multiple shifts available

What We're Looking For 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
  • Interest in teaching life skills to promote and encourage independence
  • Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant highly preferred but not required
