Buckland is looking for an Operations Team Leader, Post Entry
What you’ll be doing
This position is responsible for coordinating the handling of documentation and advances for clearance, monitoring and control of all entry/entry summary preparation to ensure shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations. The Operations Team Leader, Post Entry must provide the highest level of customer service to our valued customers. They must remain in continuous communication directly with other Team Leaders, Supervisor, and the US Operations Manager and filter communication thru to the post entry staff.

You will be responsible for
Oversee the preparation of Post Entry Submissions: PSC, 520d, Protests, 3347, and Penalty mitigations and payments.
Deliver prompt, efficient, and professional response to all queries; ensures team is current in all customer requests.
Assist in maintaining customers’ product databases.
Communicate suggestions for operational improvement and assist in implementation of changes.
Reports any problems or issues directly to their supervisor.
Obtain ongoing training to increase knowledge of new customs polices and/or regulations.
Leadership Responsibilities
Ability to manage a group of 5 to 10 employees
Assist with performance evaluations for direct reports
Assign tasks to team members
Assists with training and guidance of direct reports
Monitor work volumes of direct reports to ensure entries are completed to customs regulations guidelines.
Supervise team members, conduct team meetings, monitor attendance, and work schedules.
What we need from you
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation (must maintain yearly status).
5 years industry experience (preferred).
Advanced MS Office knowledge, CRM software and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
High level of organization, time management and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledgeable about Customs regulations and Post Entry filing requirements.
Able to function in a time sensitive environment.
Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CND/USA/MX
