BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking a Field Intern to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota.  Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN.  BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction.

Position Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors to support daily on-site activities. This role is ideal for someone interested in leadership within field operations and wants hands-on experience with jobsite coordination, safety oversight, and workflow management.

Wage:
  • Starting at $22.50 hourly depending on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily site setup, coordination, and task planning
  • Support site supervisors in managing subcontractors and crew activities
  • Help enforce safety procedures and conduct basic site safety checks
  • Document daily progress through logs, photos, and reporting tools
  • Participate in quality control inspections and punch-list activities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of daily field activities, subcontractor coordination, staging, logistics, and sequencing.
  • Knowledge of of field documentation software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, BIM tools).
  • Intro knowledge of code requirements, inspection processes, and quality standards.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with subcontractors, superintendents, project engineers, and inspectors.
  • Ability to track manpower, quantities, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
  • Ability to identify schedule impacts, conflicts, or safety risks
