Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate and dependable Operating Room Transporter/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Surgical Services team at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

  • Shift:1st shift
  • Schedule: 7a-3:30p
  • Hours per week: 40 hours per week
  • Benefits Status: Benefits Eligible
  • Department: Surgical Services

In this position the Operating Room Transporter/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will:

  • Safely transport patients to and from surgical suites.
  • Verify patient identity and ensure all required documentation is complete prior to transport.
  • Assist with patient transfers while maintaining safety, dignity, and privacy.
  • Communicate patient concerns, unusual symptoms, or changes in condition to nursing staff immediately.
  • Support PACU staff with patient transport and other assigned duties.
  • Provide direction, encouragement, and support to patients and family members.
  • Restock supplies and obtain equipment from designated hospital locations.
  • Assist with operating room cleaning, turnover, and preparation between surgical cases.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and assigned work areas.
  • Assist in orienting new team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification in Wisconsin
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
