The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and equipment. The position may include both office-based engineering work and field support activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review electrical design documents, specifications, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Support the design and analysis of power distribution systems, control systems, electrical panels, and related infrastructure.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and evaluation of electrical equipment, systems, and materials.
  • Assist with installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
  • Support project teams during system commissioning, validation, and performance testing activities.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation, drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety procedures, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on proposals, project planning, and ongoing engineering activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Approximately 0–2 years of relevant experience in electrical system design, installation, construction, testing, or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power systems, control systems, and applicable industry standards.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and engineering documents.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and engineering software applications.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Combination of office-based engineering work and fieldwork.
  • Field activities may involve outdoor environments and exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Physical activities may include walking, climbing, standing for extended periods, and conducting site inspections.
  • Potential exposure to industrial, manufacturing, construction, or utility environments.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
