Responsibilities

→Observes construction activities performed by a contractor or sub-contractor on Water/Wastewater and Municipal projects
→Documents and reports to the supervisor whether the activity was completed in accordance with contract documents
→Additional duties include observation and documentation for specific testing procedures outlined in the specifications
→Maintains a daily job log
→Arranges and conducts job progress meetings
→Schedules and conducts final inspections with representatives from various municipalities
→Communicates directly with client representatives

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; specialized vocational training is a plus.
8+ years of general civil construction experience, including Water/Wastewater and Municipal projects
Strong understanding of civil construction schematics/drawings
Ability and willingness to work hours other than 8am to 5pm, including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability and willingness to work outside with exposure to weather conditions
Ability to perform basic math skills including geometry
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Must possess a current valid US-based driver license and must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and driving record check.
