LPN Supervisor - Assisted Living

As an LPN Supervisor on our Assisted Living team, you will provide leadership and support to our nursing staff while helping ensure exceptional, resident-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to use your nursing experience in an Assisted Living setting with an emphasis on resident independence, meaningful relationships, and supporting and developing your team.

• Provide leadership, coaching, training, and supervision to our Assisted Living nursing team
• Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new employees
• Support employee development through coaching, feedback, performance management, and goal setting
• Partner with nursing leadership and Human Resources when addressing employee performance concerns
• Provide and oversee high-quality, resident-centered nursing care
• Conduct resident assessments and communicate changes in condition to appropriate healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to support residents’ individual needs
• Serve as a resource and liaison for residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
• Promote resident independence, dignity, choice, safety, and well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
• Participate in staff meetings, committees, and organizational initiatives

• Willingness to take calls or participate in an on-call rotation on weekends and/or after normal business hours for urgent or emergent situations

• A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current, unrestricted license
• A compassionate leader who enjoys supporting and developing others
• Someone with strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Knowledgeable in geriatric nursing principles
• Comfortable using technology and learning electronic medical record systems, including PointClickCare
• CPR and other relevant certifications as required
• Three years of senior living nursing experience and prior supervisory experience preferred
