Filling Operator 1

The Filling Operator 1 supports the production of culture media by operating and maintaining filling and packaging equipment. This is an entry-level role focused on following procedures, ensuring product quality, and helping the team meet daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• The individual will perform or assist in the setup, inspection, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning of equipment used throughout the Prepared Culture Media filling/bottling processes.     
• Additionally, this individual will be responsible for completing production batches and corresponding documentation for the associated tasks.
• The individual will also perform all ancillary tasks to support routine production, including area cleaning and 5S, movement of materials, AQL inspections, reworks, material reconciliation, and other tasks deemed necessary.       
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.      
• Perform other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required (manufacturing experience is a plus)

Working Conditions

• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Wearing protective equipment during most of the shift
• Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
