Foam Molding Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Foam Molding Operator is responsible for making parts in our foam molding department, while ensuring finished parts meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring that production processes are accurate and efficient, and that safety and quality standards are maintained throughout all areas in the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety-oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines.
• Paint and trim mold products to meet customer specifications.
• Operator must learn the templates for paint patterns and material change overs
• Be able to assist in the planning and prioritizing of production needs 
• Be self-motivated! And able to work as part of a team. This is a team dept. 
• Ensure all quality practices are being followed accurately and efficiently

OTHER JOB DUTIES: (Not considered essential to the job)

• Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.

   • Ability to recognize safety concerns
   • Written and verbal communication skills
   • Ability to multi-task
   • Decision making skills
   • Basic math skills
   • Ability to take part in continuous learning on site and by on-the-job training.
