We are seeking a visionary and operationally proven Director of AI Data Center Integration to lead the end-to-end delivery, integration, and commissioning of next-generation AI data center facilities. This role is critical to enabling the rapid scaling of AI and HPC infrastructure and will serve as the operational backbone for bringing hyperscale AI environments online — on time, at scale, and with zero compromise on reliability.
The ideal candidate brings deep hyperscale data center operations expertise, strong program leadership credentials, and hands-on experience integrating AI/HPC-specific infrastructure including high-density compute, advanced power and cooling systems, and mission-critical networking fabrics.
Responsibilities
~3 min readIntegration Program Leadership
- →Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle for AI data center builds — from design review and equipment staging through commissioning, cutover, and operational handoff.
- →Lead multi-disciplinary teams spanning networking, compute, GPU infrastructure, critical facilities, and vendor partners to deliver fully integrated AI data halls on schedule.
- →Develop and govern integration frameworks, MOPs/SOPs/EOPs, and readiness gates across all deployment phases.
- →Manage program-level dependencies, risks, and escalations across global and regional builds simultaneously.
AI / HPC Infrastructure Operations
- →Drive operational readiness for AI and HPC workloads including GPU clusters, high-bandwidth networking fabrics, and storage systems.
- →Partner with AI infrastructure engineering teams to validate system integration, performance benchmarks, and operational baselines prior to production acceptance.
- →Own SLO definitions, availability targets, and operational performance metrics for newly integrated AI data center environments.
- →Lead incident command for high-severity integration and commissioning events; drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Critical Facilities & Capacity Scaling
- →Coordinate with critical facilities teams on power (EPMS), cooling, and BAS systems to support high-density AI infrastructure deployments.
- →Drive capacity planning processes to align facility readiness with AI infrastructure growth roadmaps.
- →Ensure data center environments meet power, thermal, and physical density requirements specific to AI/HPC workloads.
- →Partner with construction and design teams on new facility development to embed integration best practices early in the build cycle.
Vendor & Partner Governance
- →Direct external vendors, integrators, and contractors across electrical, mechanical, networking, and compute domains.
- →Establish and enforce vendor performance standards, SLAs, safety requirements, and quality benchmarks.
- →Manage complex multi-vendor environments with accountability for delivery timelines and operational outcomes.
Organizational Leadership
- →Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of integration engineers and program managers.
- →Define team structure, roles, and career development pathways aligned to a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure organization.
- →Foster a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across integration teams.
Strategy & Operational Excellence
- →Drive automation, observability, and tooling improvements to accelerate integration cycles and reduce operational toil.
- →Establish and iterate on metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadences to provide executive visibility into integration program health.
- →Champion process standardization and operational best practices across a global portfolio of AI data center deployments.
- →A culture that values authenticity and diverse perspectives.
- →An inclusive, respectful environment with open workspaces and an energetic, start-up spirit.
- →A fast-growing company with opportunities to network with industry pioneers and enthusiasts.
- →The ability to contribute directly and make an impact on the future of the digital asset and AI computing industry.
- →Involvement in new projects and in developing processes/systems.
- →Personal accountability, autonomy, rapid growth, and learning opportunities.
- →Attractive benefits and development such as training and mentoring.
