As an experienced Staff Accountant with a passion for business operations, you are eager to expand your expertise in finance. You will take charge of managing the day-to-day financial health of our clients, using your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Enjoying teamwork and client interaction, you will take pride in supporting clients' financial success. You have a solid understanding of US GAAP standards, Cash vs. Accrual accounting, and possess strong people skills.

Your background includes:

  • 2 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Must have experience in a client-facing role
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Our clients span a wide range of industries and sizes, so each account is unique. Regardless of the variation, we are committed to delivering high-quality financial services and support across the entire portfolio. In this role, you will handle a variety of operational tasks including:

  • Managing general bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Payroll, and general ledger maintenance
  • Preparing, posting, and entering journal entries
  • Overseeing regular record-keeping and filing processes
  • Collaborating with leadership and account managers on special projects
  • Assisting with client relations and providing ongoing support
  • Maintaining client financial reports and dashboards
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of business processes
  • Hybrid: 3 days in-office (home address commutable to Office) AND 2 days remote
