About the Role

As a Senior Program Manager (PMO), you will lead the Program Management Teams (PMTs) through release planning and execution for a set of products, while taking a strategic leadership role in managing high-impact initiatives. This position requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence across a heavily matrixed organization.

You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering leaders, guiding teams through Agile methodologies, driving decisions that enhance product quality, and leveraging AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and decision-making. This is a highly visible role that involves reporting to c-suite stakeholders and collaborating across multiple functions to ensure successful delivery of programs critical to the organization.

Responsibilities

→Strategic Program Leadership

→Lead complex, strategic projects impacting multiple product lines and business units.
→Drive alignment across stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of high-priority initiatives.

→Agile Leadership

→Champion Agile methodologies for assigned product lines, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
→Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach teams on Agile principles.

→Program Lifecycle Management

→Manage all key milestones of product creation: inception, program approval, planning, development, organizational readiness, Beta/LCA, and release launch.
→Track and manage milestones, risks, and mitigations, providing weekly dashboards on program health.

→Ad Hoc Team Leadership

→Provide guidance to ad hoc teams, helping them make informed decisions that enhance product quality and customer experience.
→Act as a decision-making facilitator when teams face complex challenges.

→Cross-Functional Collaboration

→Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Documentation, Legal, Business Operations, and Partnerships teams.
→Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for program success.

→Proactive AI Utilization

→Leverage AI-driven tools and analytics to improve program efficiency, automate reporting, and enhance decision-making.
→Identify opportunities to integrate AI into workflows for risk prediction, resource optimization, and faster delivery cycles.

→Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

→Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including c-suite stakeholders.
→Deliver clear, concise, and actionable updates on program status, risks, and decisions.

→Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

→Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and program outcomes.
→Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.

Requirements

7+ years of experience shipping production software.
7+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies, with flexibility to adapt to organizational needs.
Strong communicator and listener with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Experience in security and software security (application security) is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent real-world experience.

Pay Range

$98,600—$125,000 CAD
