Responsibilities

→Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and KPIs in alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
→Create and manage integrated project plans, resource allocations, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies using modern tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet).
→Managing software development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile/Scrum processes eglead Agile and hybrid project teams through iterative planning, sprint execution, backlog grooming, and continuous delivery cycles. [might these be more specific - Coordinating feature releases, sprints, and technical dependencies].
→Drive stakeholder engagement by facilitating effective communication, alignment, and transparency through regular reporting, status updates, and project reviews.
→Has deeper understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. Eg can identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers that may impact scope, schedule, or quality.
→Communicates technical requirements and constraints effectively.
→Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and data privacy requirements across all IT components.
→Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing process enhancements, incorporating lessons learned, and introducing best practices in IT program delivery.0

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

5+ years of progressive experience managing IT projects in mid-to-large-sized technology-driven environments. Or 5+ years managing software product projects in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban); comfortable with hybrid Agile/Waterfall where needed.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical projects involving infrastructure, SaaS/PaaS implementations, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). [and/or - Proven delivery across microservices/API, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP), and modern CI/CD workflows].
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and experience leading Agile ceremonies; Scrum Master or Agile certification is a plus.
Experience with change management and digital transformation initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred. [and/or - Certifications: Agile/Scrum (PSM/CSM), Prince2/PMI, SAFe, ITIL, Azure/AWS Cloud, or Security (e.g., ISO27001 awareness)].
Familiarity with modern cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and/or - Exposure to regulatory environments (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) and secure-by-design delivery.
