“A world where every child is safe, educated, loved” - KVSS Kopila Valley Sewa Samaj (KVSS) is a non-profit NGO registered in Surkhet, Nepal to provide support for children and families in our community. Our mission is to change the world by empowering Nepal’s children. KVSS programs include a residential children’s home, Kopila Valley School (KVS) for inclusive quality education, women’s empowerment, sustainability, health and wellness, and a family development program. We provide our students a free education, educational materials, health treatment and medicine, counseling, and a place to live. With our innovative future program, we strive to provide our children with career guidance, and scholarships for further studies. Our children’s home provides a safe, loving, and stable home for children in extreme cases of need when all other options have been exhausted.

Environmental sustainability is one of the guiding principles and a way of life whatever we do! We nurture children and adults to appreciate, preserve and restore our environment so future generations may continue to flourish. Through the sustainability program, we promote Education for Sustainability through place-based, outdoor and experiential sessions, and an integrated curriculum. We work on regenerative farming and creating sustainable food systems by localizing the process along with promoting sustainable physical infrastructure, facilities and operation systems. Community outreach, partnerships and collaborations are the integral part of our work as we inspire others by offering KVS as an open learning source where green school networks, exposure visits, community groups and club activities are supported and encouraged. We do this with our funding partner BlinkNow Foundation and in close ties with the local government and communities.

KVSS  invites EoI from expert who have  relevant academic qualification combined with hands on repair and maintenance experience of working with green building practices, sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy systems and with proven track record in developing and implementing Planned Preventive Maintenance Programs (PPMP) for facilities with sustainable infrastructure to prepare and deploy an online PPMP alongside developing a site Safety & Facilities Management Guide. Terms

The consultant will abide by the  relevant organizational policy procedures alongside code of conducts. He/she will ensure the deliverables agreed upon within timelines. The consultant will begin assessment right after the consultant agreement tentatively from October 15 and complete the whole assessment process by the end of November, 2024.

Documents to be submitted

The consultant will provide evidence of academic qualifications and relevant experiences with technical and financial proposals.
