EMEA Accounting Manager

As our Accounting Manager, EMEA, you'll take ownership of accounting operations across 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs. You'll lead a team of accountants, drive audits to successful completion, and play a key role in standardizing processes across the region — all while championing the use of AI and automation to make our finance function smarter, faster, and more scalable. This is a role for someone who doesn't just manage the books — you elevate how accounting gets done. You will be working from one of our Central European offices (Bratislava, Prague, or Brno), or remotely (Czechia, Slovakia) on a full-time basis. 

• →Lead and develop a team of accountants across multiple jurisdictions, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
• →Own accounting compliance under both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs
• →Drive statutory and external audits end-to-end — from planning through to clean, on-time completion
• →Standardize processes and controls across entities, replacing fragmented local practices with scalable, best-practice workflows
• →Champion automation and AI adoption within the accounting function, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual work and increase accuracy
• →Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and HR to ensure smooth month-end close, reporting, and compliance
• →Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, local advisors, and local statutory authorities

• Proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to multiple local statutory GAAPs
• Track record of successfully leading audits and managing external auditor relationships
• Experience standardizing and improving processes in a multi-entity or multi-country environment
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI, automation, and finance transformation
• Strong people leadership skills — you know how to build, coach, and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and stakeholder groups
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
