Accounts Receivable Specialist (On-site position in Ocean Springs, MS)

Blossman Gas & Appliance seeks a detail oriented, analytical Commercial Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team at our home office in Ocean Springs, MS.  Our company has a 75-year history of being a leader in our industry due to our dedicated people, innovation, and remaining dedicated to customer-care and continuous improvement.  We operate more than 85 retail locations in 12 states, as well as several administrative support offices in Ocean Springs, MS and Asheville, NC.

In this role, the focus will be on the core cycle of commercial payments, handling foundational ACH/ETF transactions and check payments.  This position will work closely with the A/R Lead, who will provide OJT, mentorship, and support.

Key Performance Areas include:

1. Daily Payment Processing & Application (50% of time) 
2. Research & Routine Problem Solving (30%)
3. Account Maintenance & Team Support (20%)

A high school diploma is required.  Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of A/R, Bookkeeping, or Finance experience. For success, intermediate math skills, analytical ability, critical thinking, and being detail-oriented are needed.
