  • Develop PLC, CNC, and motion control solutions for highly customized industrial equipment using Allen-Bradley and FANUC platforms. 
  • Support full machine lifecycle activities including electrical design, startup, commissioning, and onsite troubleshooting. 
  • Work closely with mechanical, assembly, and service teams to deliver custom capital equipment from concept through customer handoff. 
  • Create and update electrical schematics, control narratives, and related technical documentation for new machine builds and upgrades. 
  • Tune servo-driven systems and resolve controls issues tied to precision automation and machine performance. 
  • Travel to customer sites for installations, commissioning, training, and technical support, approximately 20 to 30 percent. 
  • Troubleshoot field and in-house equipment issues involving PLC logic, CNC controls, drives, motors, sensors, and related hardware. 
  • Contribute to BOM support, component selection, and practical controls design decisions for custom machinery environments. 

 

  • Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs in industrial automation environments. 
  • Hands-on background with FANUC PMC and Ladder III. 
  • Experience supporting CNC automation and precision machine control. 
  • Knowledge of servo systems and motion control applications. 
  • Track record of machine commissioning and startup support. 
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics and controls documentation. 
  • Experience supporting custom machinery, machine builders, or capital equipment manufacturers. 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced build environment. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project support and customer-facing field work.
