Residential Architectural Designer

A growing residential design and build organization is looking for a Residential Architectural Designer to help bring high quality home concepts to life through accurate, builder ready documentation. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in a fast moving environment where strong technical drafting, practical construction knowledge, and disciplined execution all matter. The right person will enjoy translating design intent into polished plan sets that support efficient estimating, field execution, and a strong homeowner experience.

• →Create complete residential drawing packages that support permitting, estimating, and construction
• →Turn conceptual direction and design updates into coordinated, buildable construction documents
• →Revise plans for site specific conditions, client driven changes, and internal feedback from project stakeholders
• →Help maintain drawing standards, reusable details, and organized plan documentation across active projects
• →Collaborate with construction, operations, and other internal partners to improve accuracy, consistency, and execution
• →Support multiple design deliverables at once while keeping deadlines, quality standards, and version control on track

• 6 or more years of residential design and drafting experience
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and how homes are assembled in the field
• Proficiency in Revit, SoftPlan, or similar BIM and 3D modeling platforms
• Ability to convert design concepts into precise, construction ready documentation
• Highly organized approach with strong attention to detail and a consistent sense of urgency
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline preferred

• Visible impact on residential projects from early design through production documentation
• Strong partnership with internal decision makers and project teams
