Responsibilities

  • Own RF and mixed signal design efforts for high reliability aerospace systems, supporting architecture, circuit development, simulation, prototype evaluation, integration, and transition into production.
  • Design and refine board level RF assemblies involving signal conversion, receiver and transmitter functions, synthesis, filtering, amplification, and related mixed signal building blocks.
  • Use industry standard design and simulation tools such as ADS, AWR Microwave Office, HFSS, MATLAB, or similar platforms to evaluate performance, analyze tradeoffs, and improve hardware execution.
  • Work closely with technical and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, effective, and aligned with project requirements.
  • Support prototype bring up, technical problem solving, verification activity, and design improvement efforts as programs mature toward release.
  • Contribute to design reviews, technical documentation, proposal support, cost and schedule planning, and customer facing engineering discussions.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced engineers and help elevate practical RF hardware design capabilities across the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Background designing and supporting advanced hardware solutions in environments where reliability, quality, and technical precision are paramount.
  • Background in board level RF hardware or subsystem development, with experience that goes beyond telecom planning or antenna only work.
  • Working knowledge of areas such as receivers, transmitters, local oscillators, synthesizers, mixers, filters, amplifiers, phase locked loops, and mixed signal circuitry.
  • Capable of working autonomously, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving critical development efforts to successful completion.
  • U.S. citizenship required, with ability to obtain a security clearance. Existing clearance is beneficial but not required.
