At Blue Coding, we specialize in hiring excellent professionals and amazing people from all over Latin America and other parts of the world. For the past 12 years, we've helped cutting-edge companies in the United States and Canada build great teams and achieve their goals. Large multinationals, digital agencies, SaaS providers, and software consulting firms are just a few of our clients. Our team of over 150 professionals, including engineers, project managers, finance and accounting specialists, QA and UX/UI designers, and many more, is distributed across more than 10 countries in the Americas. We are a fully remote company working across a wide range of industries and disciplines, with expertise at every stage of the talent engagement process.

Our team is highly connected, united, and culturally diverse, and our collaborators are involved in many initiatives around the world, from wildlife preservation to volunteering at local charities. We stand for honesty, fairness, respect, efficiency, hard work, and cooperation

We are looking for a Fund Implementation Lead to join the Implementation team of one of our U.S.-based clients, a company building fund management software for the private funds industry. This role is for a professional with real industry experience as a fund accountant, private funds operations professional, or implementation specialist at a fund administrator, fund manager, or fund management software provider. What matters most is that you understand the complexity of private funds and enjoy the hands-on work of configuring, testing, and implementing solutions.

You'll be part of the Implementation team, working closely with the client's U.S.-based Implementation, Product, and Engineering teams to bring their product to life for clients. This is hands-on implementation work: configuring, testing, and validating client fund structures and calculations. At the Lead level, you'll own full client implementations end-to-end and coordinate across workstreams, acting as the point of escalation for complex fund structures or issues within the nearshore team, and mentoring Associates and Senior Associates. As the nearshore team grows, this role carries a potential path toward people management.

This role is not client-facing today. The U.S. team owns the direct client relationship while you focus on the technical execution behind each implementation. As you build expertise and the nearshore team grows, there may be opportunities to expand into direct client ownership and team leadership.

  • Own full client implementations end-to-end, coordinating across workstreams.
  • Act as the point of escalation for complex fund structures or issues within the nearshore team.
  • Mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Develop deep, hands-on fluency in the platform: fund structures, calculations, and implementation workflows.
  • Partner with the U.S. Implementation, Product, and Engineering teams, surfacing edge cases and issues uncovered during testing and implementation.
  • Help pressure-test and refine implementation processes that are still evolving, adapting quickly as workflows and tooling change.
  • 5+ years of relevant private funds industry experience (fund accounting, private funds operations, or implementation).
  • Prior experience implementing software, systems, or operational processes — you know what it takes to take something from spec to live and working.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and comfort communicating clearly with cross-border teams in the U.S.
  • Comfort getting hands-on with complex fund structures and calculations to build clear, scalable solutions.
  • Experience managing or working with large, complex data sets, and the attention to detail that requires.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to build or support automations (e.g., automating repetitive workflows, data processing, or testing).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • A CPA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Hands-On: You're energized by doing the work directly: configuring, testing, troubleshooting, not just directing others to do it.
  • Collaborative: You work well in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, partnering closely with U.S.-based teammates and excelling at giving and incorporating feedback.
  • Adaptable: You're comfortable with processes that are still being defined, and you adjust quickly as workflows, priorities, and tools evolve.
  • Detail-Oriented: There is no room for error when building software to manage critical calculations for investment managers.
  • Growth-Minded: You're motivated by the possibility of taking on more scope over time.
  • Curious: You enjoy learning about different technical concepts and clients' unique approaches to managing their fund finance operations.
  •
