Responsibilities

→Assists in the developing, planning and implementing of a daily curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and provides social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual experiences for children in the classroom
→Follows proper safety guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of children at all times
→Performs assigned responsibilities, duties and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques and standards with minimal supervision

Must be 18 years of age
Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
Successfully complete SLED and FBI checks
Must be capable of maintaining a positive attitude, displaying a caring concern toward children, parents and coworkers
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for young children
Ability to provide guidance for young children
Ability to work with children and be able to move quickly to assist and supervise young children
Ability to lift children, equipment and supplies, and to hear and see at a distance
Ability to model positive Christ like attitude and demeanor with the children in their care

Fifteen clock hours of training annually pertaining to Growth and Development, Curriculum, and Health and Safety
Blood borne Pathogens and Right to Know Training as required by federal law
Physical and PPD (TB Test)
