Accounting Manager

• Manage a team of 3-5 accountants and ensure they are completing engagements

• Ensure accuracy and quality control of client work

• Oversee the profitability of client engagements

• Ability to cross-sell and upsell additional service offerings to the client base

• Responsible for the training and development of team members

• Manage team workflow to meet client deadlines

• Technical lead on accounting and technology issues

• 7-10 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years at a mid-sized CPA firm

• 3-5 years in a people management or leadership role

• Experience preparing and consolidating financial statements and issuing financial reports

• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping small businesses succeed

• Proficiency with cloud-based platforms like QuickBooks Online and Xero

• Familiarity with tools like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, A2X, Bill.com, and Gusto

• Ability to build processes, drive operational efficiency, and deliver strategic insights

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (MS/MBA preferred); CPA strongly preferred

• Bonus: Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, real estate, inventory management, or internal controls

• Salary range from $110,000-$140,000/year + performance bonus
