Responsibilities

  • Damage Assessment: Inspect affected properties to determine the scope of damage and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Restoration Execution: Perform water extraction, drying, mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and structural repairs.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely set up and operate specialized restoration equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, moisture readings, and photos, using industry-standard software.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during restoration, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 years in the restoration industry with hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation.
  • Certifications: IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Mold Remediation Contractor from TDLR preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency with restoration equipment and software (e.g., MICA, Xactimate). Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Scoping job site with use of Matterport or DocuSketch
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in various environmental conditions, and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, and standing.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
