Requirements

A minimum of a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence,Robotics or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in Higher Education.
Experience in designing and delivering undergraduate curricula.
Proficiency in offline and online teaching, Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Blackboard, and other educational technologies.
Experience with virtual laboratories, engineering simulations, and digital learning tools will be an added advantage.
Evidence of research, publications, industry certifications, or scholarly activities in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

→Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and online learning in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and related disciplines.
→Prepare, administer, assess, and moderate student assessments while providing timely and constructive feedback.
→Develop course outlines, lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
→Support and mentor students through academic advising, project supervision, and practical laboratory activities.
→Maintain accurate student attendance, academic records, and assessment documentation.
→Effectively utilise Blackboard and other digital learning technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
→Incorporate laboratory simulations, practical computing exercises, and innovative teaching methodologies into course delivery.
→Contribute to curriculum development, programme review, and quality assurance initiatives.
→Participate in research, innovation, scholarly activities, and community engagement.
→Participate in departmental meetings, faculty activities, and other academic responsibilities as required.
→Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Faculty leadership.

Strong subject knowledge in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal Sensitivity.
Proficiency in online learning platforms, Learning Management Systems, and educational technologies.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to supervise student projects and provide academic mentorship.
Demonstrated research and academic writing capability.
Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence,Robotics and related computing disciplines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Results-oriented with the ability to maintain high academic standards.
