About the Role
~1 min readAs our Senior Specialist - Sustainability, you will help shape and deliver Bradken’s global Sustainability, ESG and Circularity strategy while driving meaningful improvements in environmental, social and governance performance across our operations and value chains. This role plays an important part in strengthening sustainability reporting, supporting compliance with emerging disclosure requirements, and turning complex ESG data into practical business insights.
Your work will help advance climate action, responsible sourcing, circularity and sustainable product stewardship initiatives while improving transparency, stakeholder confidence and long-term business performance. You’ll have the opportunity to lead sustainability projects, collaborate with teams across the business and contribute to solutions that create value for both Bradken and its customers.
- Support and deliver sustainability, ESG and circularity initiatives across climate action, responsible sourcing, sustainable value chains, product stewardship and social impact programs.
- Analyse ESG data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, and provide insights that strengthen sustainability performance and business outcomes.
- Coordinate the collection, validation and reporting of sustainability data, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy, waste, water, supplier and social impact metrics.
- Contribute to sustainability disclosures and reporting obligations, including sustainability reporting, modern slavery reporting and compliance with evolving reporting standards and assurance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed sustainability into business decision-making, build capability and share best practices across the organisation.
- Lead or support sustainability projects that improve reporting capability, environmental performance, circularity outcomes and long-term business value.
- A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Climate Change, Finance, Corporate Sustainability, Law, Accounting or a related sustainability discipline.
- Experience in sustainability, ESG, climate reporting, carbon accounting or sustainability consulting within manufacturing, mining, energy, heavy industry or a related sector.
- Working knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting and the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
- Experience preparing sustainability disclosures aligned with frameworks and requirements such as ASRS, ISSB, AASB S2, GRI, TCFD and Modern Slavery reporting.
- Experience with life cycle assessments, environmental product declarations, circularity, product stewardship or sustainable value chain initiatives.
- Experience using sustainability reporting platforms and ESG data management systems.
- Strong capability in analysing ESG data and translating sustainability requirements into practical business outcomes.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
