Brayman Construction in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a career-oriented, experienced Equipment/Logistics Coordinator to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in logistics, fleet management, and regulatory compliance.


What You'll Do as an Equipment/Logistics Coordinator:

You will play a key role in keeping our fleet and logistics operations running smoothly and compliantly:

  • Manage vehicle registrations, renewals, titles, insurance cards, and IFTA fuel permits/filings
  • Track and maintain Coast Guard watercraft registrations and renewals
  • Apply for and secure heavy haul permits
  • Oversee company fuel card program
  • Manage EZ Pass accounts and transponder tracking
  • Administer ELD devices and ensure Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
  • Maintain DOT qualification files for commercial drivers
  • Manage DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
  • Assist with internal trucking schedules and logistics coordination
  • Support logistics budgeting and cost tracking
  • Track and manage fleet assets (trucks, trailers, and equipment)
  • Provide support to Equipment and Asset Managers on special projects

What We're Looking For in an Equipment/Logistics Coordinator:

  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, licensing, and permitting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across field, shop, and office teams
  • Clean driving record
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and mobile/ELD technologies
  • Experience with HCSS and accounting software (Viewpoint is a plus)
  • Highly organized with a proactive, "can-do" attitude

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, fleet, or equipment administration preferred
  • AEMP Equipment Management Specialist (EMS) certification is a plus
  • Relevant training or certifications related to fleet/logistics operations are a plus

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with occasional time in the yard and at job sites

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, around high voltage, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a federal contractor.
