Precast Concrete Fabricator

Brayman Precast in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Precast Concrete Fabricator.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and takes pride in contributing to the production of high-quality precast concrete products.

Standard Shift Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts typically run from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Additional overtime may be required depending on project demands

Position Overview of Precast Concrete Fabricator:

As a member of the production team, you will assist in various stages of precast concrete manufacturing. Responsibilities include building and assembling forms, preparing reinforcement cages, mixing, and placing concrete, and performing finishing work on completed products.

The precast units produced in our facility are designed for direct installation at project sites, minimizing the need for additional field modifications.

Daily tasks may involve using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment associated with woodworking, metal fabrication, and concrete production. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace is an important part of the role. Team members should be willing to assist with a variety of labor duties as needed to support production goals.

Qualifications of Precast Concrete Fabricator:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to quality work
• Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with coworkers
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience using tools and equipment related to manufacturing or construction is preferred
• Willingness to learn concrete finishing techniques
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor tasks
• Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities within the production process

Safety Sensitive Position:

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
