About the Role
~1 min readGreat In Counters is hiring a Project Coordinator to support the commercial project management team in Providence. This role is ideal for someone who is intelligent, articulate, organized, and eager to grow into a bigger role over time.
This is not a pure administrative role, and it is not a senior project manager role either. It is a hands-on support position for someone who wants to build a career in commercial construction, learn how projects move from kickoff through closeout, and become a trusted right hand to experienced project managers.
If you are early in your career but have strong communication skills, solid follow-through, and the ability to keep details organized across multiple moving pieces, this could be an excellent fit.
Great In Counters is a Providence-based fabricator of natural stone and quartz surfaces serving clients across New England. The commercial team partners with general contractors, architects, and developers to deliver countertop packages for demanding environments, including hospitality, casinos, multi-family housing, and mixed-use properties.
- Career Growth: This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow into commercial project management over time.
- Learn the Business: Gain real exposure to the commercial construction process, from documentation and scheduling to closeout.
- Strong Team Support: Work closely with experienced project managers and learn from a team that is already active in the field.
- Minimal Travel: This is primarily an office-based role with little to no travel.
- Valuable Experience: Build experience working with GCs, architects, developers, suppliers, and installation teams.
