VACANCY: Business Documentation Specialist (6-month contract)
CPJ St. Lucia Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Business Process Documentation Specialist to join our Down Trade Sales Department.
The Business Process Documentation Specialist is responsible for working closely with department managers and subject matter experts to document, standardize and maintain the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role will capture current business processes, identify opportunities for standardization, ensure appropriate internal controls are documented and produce clear, user-friendly process documentation to support operational excellence, training, compliance and successful implementation of the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Meet with department managers and staff to understand business processes and controls.
- Observe workflows and document procedures, work instructions and process maps.
- Develop clear and standardized SOPs using approved templates.
- Validate documented procedures with process owners and obtain approvals.
- Identify opportunities to improve process consistency and internal controls.
- Maintain a centralized library of SOPs and ensure version control.
- Support process documentation required for ERP implementation and staff training.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Recent graduate or up to two years’ relevant experience. Previous internships, university projects involving process mapping or documentation, or experience in a business environment will be an asset.
