Investment Banking, Senior Analyst, Financial Institutions Group

BTIG is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in our New York office. Our investment banking practice at BTIG encompasses a wide variety of services, including public and private offerings, convertible debt offerings and M&A advisory assignments. This position would require the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with primary responsibilities for the day-to-day management of ongoing assignments, the development of materials for board level discussions, and new business generation.

• →Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, debt financings, and mergers & acquisitions
• →Manage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team or individually
• →Prepare client presentations
• →Financial analysis and modeling
• →Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materials
• →Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions

• Must have 2+ years of FIG Investment Banking experience
• An undergraduate degree in finance or economics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous project deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and Bloomberg
• Ability to work well in teams
• Excellent analytical, modeling, and interpersonal skills
• Solid work ethic and superior attention to detail
