We are searching for an Immigration Paralegal in our Miami office. Currently, our paralegals work on a hybrid schedule with an expectation that they will work three days a week in the office. This position offers flexibility and a chance to work with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies in all types of industries.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage immigration and visa-related data and assist immigration attorneys with document review and all aspects of case preparation.
- →Draft forms and petition support letters.
- →Correspond with clients.
- →Manage PERM timelines and document collection.
- →Perform special projects and other assignments as requested by attorneys or others by establishing priorities and proactively anticipating attorney and client needs.
- →Enter and release billable time in accordance with firm policy.
Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred, but not required.
- Experience preparing a full range of business immigration petitions and applications for corporate clients, including H, L, TN, O, J, E, PERM, AOS, National Interest Waiver, EB-1, Naturalization, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications with advanced level in Word, Excel, Outlook, and case tracking databases.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and liaise with HR points of contact at companies and high net worth individuals, showcasing sophistication and professionalism.
- Experience working with high-level executives and high-net worth clients, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of corporate HR processes, protocols, and the sensitivities involved in handling immigration and legal matters for senior personnel.
- Team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated with superior analytical and organizational ability.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a friendly personality.
- Proven writing ability with strong attention to detail.
- Takes initiative and works with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
